### On-demand Data syncing from the Dashboard

We are excited to introduce on-demand data sync from the dashboard. It is seamlessly integrated into the Accounting Data as a Service™ Dashboard and users will now have the option to initiate an on-demand data sync for their business connection or a datatype from the dashboard , in addition to using an API. For more information see [Syncing data](https://docs.railz.ai/reference/syncing-data)

These improvements will enable customers to manage and troubleshoot their data syncs more effectively, enhance transparency in the synchronization process, and minimize the need for external support by providing self-service troubleshooting options directly on the dashboard.

### How to Access (Business Connection):

* Navigate to the **Dashboard** and log in.
* In the left sidebar navigation menu, go to **Businesses**
* Click the **Manage Business** kebab menu icon on the right under the **Action** column, then select **Manage Services**,
* Select **Sync Data** for the connection.

On this modal page the **Sync Data** button should be enabled if an on-demand data sync is available for that business connection. If the button is disabled it means the service provider does not support on-demand data sync for that business connection. See [On-demand data sync business connection](https://docs.railz.ai/docs/dashboard-manage-businesses#on-demand-data-sync-business-connection).

### How to Access (Datatype):

* Navigate to the **Dashboard** and log in.
* In the left sidebar navigation menu, go to **Businesses > Click into a connected business**
* Select the **Reports** tab.
* Select the Report type of the datatype you want to Sync
* Click **Sync Data** button.

On this page the **Sync Data** button should be enabled if an on-demand data sync is available for this datatype. If the button is disabled it means the datatype endpoint does not support on-demand data sync for that datatype. See [On-demand data sync datatype](https://docs.railz.ai/docs/business-data#on-demand-data-sync-datatype).
