šŸš€ New Feature: Future-Dated Invoice & Bill Retrieval

We're excited to introduce Future-Dated Invoice & Bill Retrieval for Accounting Data as a Service (ADaaS). This new capability allows customers to retrieve invoices and bills dated up to 90 days in the future, providing greater visibility into upcoming receivables and payables for enhanced financial planning and analysis.

🧩 Why This Matters

Previously, ADaaS only synchronized invoices and bills through the current date, limiting visibility into scheduled transactions. With this enhancement, customers can include future-dated invoices and bills in their workflows, helping improve:

  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Revenue and expense planning
  • Accounts receivable and payable visibility
  • Financial analysis and decision making

šŸ’” What’s Included

  • Future-Dated Retrieval: Retrieve invoices and bills up to 90 days beyond the current date..
  • Customer-Controlled Setting Enable or disable future-dated retrieval directly through a configurable dashboard setting.
  • ASP-Aware Support: Future-dated retrieval is available only for Accounting Service Providers (ASPs) that support future-date filtering.
  • Backward Compatibility:: Existing synchronization behavior remains unchanged when the feature is disabled.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Date selection and filtering options have been updated to reflect future-dated transaction capabilities.

šŸ”§ How It Works

  1. Login to your Dashboard as an Administrator or Super Administrator role.
  2. Under Integrations > Data Sync Enable Sync Future Dates (up to 90 days)
  3. Initiate an on-demand sync or allow your scheduled synchronization to run.
  4. ADaaS retrieves eligible invoices and bills dated up to 90 days in the future for supported ASPs.
  5. Review future-dated receivables and payables alongside your existing accounting data.
