Released on: April 21, 2026

šŸš€ New Enhancement: BYOD Data Review & Transparency

We’re excited to introduce the highly requested feature BYOD Data Review experience in ADaaS that gives authorized users full visibility into the financial documents uploaded via Bring Your Own Data (BYOD) — and how those files power normalized financials, ratios, and insights.
This enhancement is designed to improve transparency, auditability, and confidence when consuming BYOD‑sourced insights.

🧩 Why This Matters

With BYOD, SMBs can upload financial documents directly into ADaaS. Until now, users consuming insights derived from BYOD data had limited visibility into:

  • Which source documents were uploaded
  • What periods and statement types were covered
  • How normalized financials align to those uploads

šŸ’” What’s Included

Read‑Only BYOD Data Review (Dashboard Experience)
Available within the existing ADaaS dashboard and shown only for BYOD connections.

  • Source File Inventory
    • View a complete list of all uploaded BYOD files
    • Duplicate uploads are shown individually for full traceability
    • Files are view‑only (no download support)
  • In‑Browser File Viewing
    • Open uploaded files directly in the browser
    • Supported formats include:
      • PDF (.pdf)
      • Excel (.xls, .xlsx)
      • CSV (.csv)
      • Word (.docx)
      • JSON (.json)
    • Each file opens in a separate viewing window
  • Financial Coverage Transparency
    • See which periods and statement types (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) are represented
    • Quickly identify coverage gaps or inconsistencies across uploads
  • Normalized Data Lineage
    • Review normalized financial data as it aligns back to the source uploads
    • Improve confidence in how raw documents contribute to calculated insights
