Overview

An accurate valuation of business data is essential for you to assess the opportunities and opportunity costs as your businesses plan for future growth and eventual transition. The entire valuation process can provide an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of the reviewed company. This can mean that you can confidently offer your businesses the products and services they need to succeed.

How it Works?

The /businessValuations endpoint gives Railz's customers the ability to access the following business valuations via our API and Dashboard:

• Multiple-to-Revenue
• Discounted Cash Flow
• Liquidation Value
• First Chicago Method

For valuations relying on variables like the discount rate and revenue multiple, Railz relies on a business' NAICs code to infer the values for that industry.

Missing Business Valuations?

A missing financial statement for a reporting period (e.g. due to no cashflow activity during that period), will result in an incomplete set of business valuations.
